| Just jotting down my idea for a story I plan to write. Not gonna rp it.

Well, in the story, there are 2 main realms that I focus on. The human realm and the Reapers realm. Obviously, human realm is where people live, and the reaper realm is where the God of Death resides. In the Reapers Realm, there are 2 types of beings and of course, their lord and master, the God of Death. The 2 types of beings are called Death Angels, and Maggothus.
I'll explain the role of the Death Angel first. The Death Angels are semi-reapers created by the God of Death for his amusement. Seeing as hes banished to his realm and unable to leave, he creates these beings to send to the human realm for his entertainment. Whatever the Death Angel sees, smells, feels, hears.... the God does as well. But Death Angels cant just go to the human realm and do whatever they please. There is a catch. The God of Death chooses a human for each Death Angel. That human is the only way a Death Angel can reside in the human realm. The Death Angel needs the humans life aura in order to stay in their world. Without their human, they cannot exist there, and they slip back into the Reapers realm.
So, in order for a Death Angel to remain on earth, he must always be near his chosen human. If that human should die, or slip into a vegetative state, then the Death Angel has no choice but to return to the Reapers realm. There is one other way a Death Angel is allowed to stay in the human world. If he is able to manipulate his human into killing others for their life energy, he will gain the ability to remain in the human realm. (By taking the life energy of the murdered humans, its as if he replaces them in this realm, while they are forced into his realm to act out their part as Maggothus.)
Maggothus are basically just the servants of the God of Death. They're created when a Death Angel has his human murder another human, and their souls are lost to the Reapers realm. Ever so often a Maggothu is chosen to create a new Death Angel, and the cycle begins again. There is no way for a Maggothu to return to the human realm unless he is chosen as a Death Angel.
Side Notes: It is in a Death Angels best interest to keep his human alive. In fact, if his human should die, the Death Angel is removed from existence all together.
Other humans CAN see Death Angels when they hang around their humans. They can't, however, see what they truly look like. Only their chosen human can see, and that's only when the Death Angel chooses to show them.
It's usually a bad idea for the Death Angel to show his real looks. This has often led their humans to suicide, and in such, the cease of their existence.
Death Angels are unable to kill anything in the human realm.
